Payments made by Reality to the appellants were dispositions of Right Time's property because Reality, with Right Time's authority, both reduced Reality's debt to Right Time and acted effectively as Right Time's agent in making payments of sums to which Right Time was entitled; those dispositions were rendered void by section 182 and the liquidators were entitled to recover the amounts from the payees (and/or Reality).
