Leave to adduce a psychiatric expert report was refused because there was no prima facie evidence that the applicant's psychiatric condition affected her working capacity or was causally linked to the accident, the existing treating psychiatric reports together with detailed orthopaedic reports sufficiently addressed the issues in dispute, and the proposed expert evidence was therefore unnecessary, irrelevant and not of sufficient probative value; application dismissed and costs awarded to respondent.
