On credibility and financial analysis the court found the applicant had understated income and hidden assets and was capable of paying at least HK$1,000 monthly; accordingly the consent order was varied to reduce child maintenance from HK$2,000 to HK$1,000 per month, retrospective to 29 February 2016.
