No special circumstances existed to justify applying the Paper Mills formula under s.9(1A); having regard to medical evidence and the First Schedule the court assessed permanent loss of earning capacity at 20% and awarded s.9 compensation accordingly; the additional 69 days certified by the treating hospital were accepted under s.10(2) so total temporary incapacity was 214 days; s.10A medical expenses awarded as agreed; resulting monetary awards were calculated and net payment ordered with interest and costs.
