The applicant was not a "person otherwise interested in the trust" under s57A(a)(iii) because his asserted connections (attendance, an unvested room promise, minor interactions) did not amount to an interest materially greater than or different from that of ordinary members of the public and some asserted interests were adverse; accordingly the originating summons was struck out and the claim dismissed.
