Given the signed notice, taxi rental contract, shift record, payment of rent, absence of contemporaneous complaint about non-delivery, credible management witness evidence, and reliable speed camera evidence showing XB3577 at 70 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, the only reasonable inference is that the appellant was the driver at the material time and the prosecution proved the speeding offence beyond reasonable doubt; the trial judge's credibility findings were justified and the conviction is upheld.
