The admission and substantial reliance on a single digital photograph of uncertain provenance without supporting provenance or expert evidence rendered the conviction unsafe because the trial judge gave that image decisive weight without adequately addressing material inconsistencies and legitimate doubts; accordingly the conviction and sentence must be quashed and costs awarded.
