The application to file the Investigation Report and related privileged material in a sealed envelope for the appeal was dismissed because the materials were not new and were available at the interlocutory hearing, so permitting them would be an abuse and would circumvent the Ladd v Marshall requirements; the Master was entitled to refuse inspection on the material before her and to adopt the ordinary course; unilateral provision of sealed documents for private inspection by the court is inappropriate and not justified in the circumstances.
