The respondent failed to establish a bona fide dispute on substantial grounds because objective documentary and payment evidence established the loan was drawn down and repaid in part, and there was no satisfactory evidential basis to show a breach of s7(1)(b) of the Money Lenders Ordinance; accordingly a bankruptcy order (order nisi) was made.
