The court concluded the judge intended a one year consecutive sentence component making a four year starting point appropriate given forged documentation and about HK$2.5 million obtained; the three month deductions for cooperation and delay were appropriate but the two month deduction for the applicant's personal repayments was insufficient, warranting a further two month reduction and a final sentence of 3 years 2 months imprisonment.
