On a broad-brush interim application the court accepted the Wife's reasonable combined needs at no less than HK$18,000 per month but, having taken a preliminary view that the Husband retains access to and can draw funds from HFL and balancing the Husband's own reasonable living allowance, concluded the Husband has the ability to pay HK$15,000 per month as interim maintenance for the Wife and son; payments to commence on or before 10 December 2013 and thereafter monthly, with no backdating and costs reserved for substantive hearing.
