The appeal is allowed in part because when the employee MPF contribution was correctly reduced from 10% to 5% the Master should have applied the same proportional growth factor used in the original assessment (1.411) to the corrected contribution figure and then adjusted the average annual depletion proportionately, yielding a revised loss of accumulation award of $132,300 after a 30% discount for early receipt.
