The court allowed the plaintiff to withdraw the claim but held that costs should follow the consequences of the solicitors' last‑minute conduct: because Messrs WT Law Offices failed to comply with O67 r6(1) and their late cease‑to‑act application caused wasted hearings, the court made an order nisi allocating costs so that costs up to 25 April 2021 are borne by the plaintiff and costs from 26 April 2021 to 9 September 2021 are to be borne personally by the plaintiff's solicitors, and directed the solicitors to show cause in writing within 21 days why they should not be so ordered.
