Damages are an adequate remedy for the plaintiff's loss because the loss alleged is purely monetary (loss of rental income from subletting), readily ascertainable, and there is no reason to believe the defendant cannot pay; therefore, under the American Cyanamid principle the interlocutory injunction should be refused.
