Application to consolidate was dismissed because the two plaintiffs are distinct legal entities with separate causes of action (AE's statutory wage recovery under the Employment Ordinance and AC's contractual/guarantee claim under the Subcontract), there is no privity between AE and AC with PH, any set-off arises only between PH and AC, and consolidation would not meet Order 1A objectives and would cause undue delay and complication.
