The conviction for possession of an offensive weapon was quashed because there was no evidence that the second appellant knew of, controlled, or wilfully encouraged the third appellant's possession of the knife; mere status as a fellow passenger was insufficient. The robbery convictions were upheld because the trial judge properly rejected the second appellant's account in favour of coherent eyewitness and police evidence and the sentence for robbery was appropriate.
