Bail was refused because the judge was satisfied there were substantial grounds to believe the applicant would abscond, commit further offences and interfere with witnesses given the seriousness of the alleged offences, the applicant's travel history and weak ties to Hong Kong, and the fact the second alleged robbery occurred while he was on bail for the first.
