The plaintiffs demonstrated a sufficient reputation in Egypt for the Winston get-up for cigarettes and garments and the defendants' supply in Hong Kong of jeans bearing that get-up amounted to supplying instruments of deception enabling likely passing-off in Egypt; absence of an intention to deceive is immaterial; damages would be inadequate to protect the plaintiffs' reputation, so an interlocutory injunction restraining the defendants from dealing with the jeans and garments was granted.
