Leave to appeal was granted because the Court is satisfied that a point of law of requisite importance exists concerning the scope of the actus reus of s161(1)(c) of the Crimes Ordinance and because it is reasonably arguable that, depending on the resolution of that legal question, the trial court's finding of no dishonesty may have been perverse, giving rise to substantial and grave injustice.
