s.38 of the Marriage Ordinance remained available to parties to a Chinese customary marriage after the Marriage Reform Ordinance; the 1985 s.38 registry marriage between the deceased and the first plaintiff was a valid subsequent marriage in law and therefore operated to revoke the 1967 will under former s.13 of the Wills Ordinance.
