    Court
    Court of First Instance
    Case number
    HCMA68/2013

The judge correctly found that the combination of (a) a voter registration form bearing the appellant's details received months before the election, (b) evidence that someone presenting identity documents bearing the appellant's particulars attended the assigned polling station on election day, and (c) the reliability of polling‑station procedures and staff, excluded the reasonable alternative explanations and supported the only reasonable inference that the appellant knowingly caused or was the source of the false registration and voted; accordingly the conviction was safe.
