The prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case because key prosecution witnesses (particularly the AP and arresting/investigating officers) gave materially inconsistent and irreconcilable evidence, and the prosecution failed to preserve or produce critical digital evidence (WeChat records, forensic phone analysis, CCTV footage) that could have corroborated the AP.
