The court held the adjudication decision dated 6.1.2025 was void ab initio because the claimant was styled as an unincorporated consortium which lacked legal capacity to initiate CIPAA proceedings; the adjudicator therefore acted in excess of jurisdiction, compounded by lack of proper authorisation from a consortium member and from its counsel, warranting setting aside the adjudication decision and allowing the applicant's originating summons.
