Conviction upheld because prosecution proved the drugs were found on the accused and the chain of custody was not broken as the individual packets were seized, marked and handed over for analysis; however the aggregate imprisonment would have a crushing effect if allowed to run consecutively as imposed, therefore appellate court varied the terms applying the totality principle and clarified sentences to take effect consecutively but reduced to an aggregate of eight years imprisonment with whipping totalling thirteen strokes effective from 26 June 2019.
