O.71 r.5(1) of the ROC 2012 gives the Registrar discretionary power to require additional information or documents including a Sijil Faraid; therefore the High Court will not rule that requiring a Sijil Faraid is unlawful and remitted the matters to the Registrar to hear and dispose of each application on its merits.
