The appeal is dismissed because the High Court found the Sessions Court's factual findings on liability and quantum were reasonably open on the evidence: the Appellants failed to discharge the burden to prove the Respondent made a sudden lane change; physical evidence supported a rear-end collision; SP1's investigative opinion lacked corroboration and could not outweigh objective indicators; the quantum awards were not inordinately low.
