KPI did not properly administer the bankrupt's estate nor demonstrate compliance with statutory and departmental procedures (including tracing the bankrupt and convening the first meeting of creditors or obtaining court extension of time); accordingly KPI's issuance of a notice of intention to discharge under s.33A was an improper exercise of discretion and the court granted an order restraining KPI from issuing a discharge certificate for two years (15.1.2024–14.1.2026).
