The Agreement, read as a whole (Clauses 2, 4(b), 5, 7, 8 and Schedule 2), created an enforceable 5‑year bonded service obligation in consideration of sponsorship; failing to serve obliges repayment. The 2017 Letter of Undertaking was supported by consideration in the form of the Plaintiff's forbearance. Consequently the Plaintiff was entitled to recover RM822,038.79 with interest and costs.
