The Court held the appellants were in contempt for unabashedly failing to comply with the un-stayed court orders; they were estopped from relitigating matters decided in prior proceedings; given the recalcitrant conduct a custodial sentence (substituting the fines) was necessary to reflect seriousness and deterrence, and the appeal was dismissed while the respondent’s cross-appeal on sentence was allowed to substitute imprisonment terms.
