Agent owed duties to insurer not to the insured and had discharged its limited duties; the policy lapsed on 1.1.2022 and the insured died on 4.2.2022; payment on 7.2.2022 after death could not legally revive the policy because insurance cannot insure a past event and revival requires insurer’s acceptance, completed revival formalities and proof of good health; therefore death benefit under the policy was not payable and Plaintiffs’ claim fails.
