Prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case because it did not discharge the burden to show the accused had custody and control of the seized drugs and poisons: multiple persons had access to the premises, key witnesses (to contradict accused's version) were not called, unexplained inconsistencies in weights and records created reasonable doubt, and therefore possession and consequential trafficking were not proven.
