Appellate court held prosecution established prima facie and on rehearing proved beyond reasonable doubt that (a) multiple appellants committed assaults with common intention (s.34) amounting to offences under s.330 (convictions upheld and sentences increased), and (b) for six principal accused (OKT1–OKT6) the injuries inflicted were intentionally caused and sufficient in the ordinary course of nature to cause death under s.300(c), thus s.302 murder convictions were reinstated for OKT1–OKT6 (including abetment liability for OKT6) and appropriate sentences imposed (death where ordered).
