Section 69A of the Employment Act operates as a jurisdictional bar: where representations under section 20 of the Industrial Relations Act have been filed and matters are pending before the Industrial Court, the Director General is precluded from inquiring into overlapping wage claims under section 69; accordingly the Labour Office lacked jurisdiction to decide the Appellants' wage claim and the High Court was correct to set aside the Labour Office decision.
