The High Court held there was sufficient evidence to establish the elements of s16(a)(B) ASPRM, the presumption under s50(1) arose upon proof of receipt of gratification and the appellants failed to rebut it on the balance of probabilities; therefore convictions and the sentences imposed by the Sessions Court were correct and not subject to appellate interference.
