Failure to produce the police diary is not fatal to a remand application under sections 4(1) and 4(2) POCA 1959 because the statute mandates production of specified written statements only; where those statements and affidavits disclose sufficient facts and particulars to satisfy the Magistrate, the remand is lawful and the application for habeas corpus is dismissed.
