On the totality of evidence the Court found ZRTA was validly appointed and acted as stakeholder solicitor; primary bank records and remittance advices proved stakeholder monies were received into ZRTA client account(s); matured staged releases were due and not remitted (only RM350,000.00 paid); internal 'branch autonomy' was not communicated to third parties and does not absolve partners of joint and several liability under the Partnership Act 1961; Plaintiff proved net outstanding RM1,439,022.89 and is entitled to interest at 5% p.a. pre- and post-judgment and costs of RM150,000.
