Article 150(8) of the Federal Constitution expressly and conclusively ousts the High Court's jurisdiction to entertain or determine any application challenging the validity or continued operation of a Proclamation of Emergency or any ordinance promulgated under Article 150; Article 150(6) further protects such ordinances from being declared invalid for inconsistency with the Constitution; accordingly the court lacked jurisdiction and the application for leave for judicial review was dismissed.
