Officers SD1 and SD2 did not demonstrate written authorisation as required by the by‑law; therefore their entry, compounding and seizure on 3/4/2020 were unlawful and an abuse of power; procedural defects in the compounding documentation (inconsistent offences) further undermined validity; Plaintiff failed to prove special damages for RM145,000 and RM43,500 and ownership was unclear, but Defendant is liable for wrongful exercise of authority and Plaintiff is entitled to a global award of general damages of RM20,000 and costs RM20,000 (subject to taxation).
