Section 121 Road Transport Act 1987 bars admissibility of evidence of compounding or plea by letter in civil proceedings arising out of the same transaction; applying the plainly wrong test the appellate court found no basis to disturb the trial judge's factual findings on negligence and dismissed the appeal with costs.
