The Counterclaim against Ng was struck out because the pleaded facts show she acted as a disclosed representative of Atlas (a separate legal entity), there is no pleaded basis to pierce the corporate veil or to impute fraud or trust liabilities to her personally, the fraud and trust allegations lack requisite particularity and identifiable trust property, and the Counterclaim is an abuse of process given Atlas was struck off; therefore no reasonable cause of action was disclosed against Ng and strike out under Order 18 r 19 was warranted.

The Statement of Claim fails to particularize allegations of fraud or to show any nexus or contractual relationship between Plaintiffs and the 5th Defendant; absent privity there is no basis for contractual or tortious liability and no pleaded actual or equitable fraud to justify lifting the corporate veil. Consequently the pleadings do not disclose a reasonable cause of action against the 5th Defendant and the strike out is warranted.

The writ and statement of claim were struck out because the plaintiff failed to plead the tort of conspiracy with the required particularity as to which defendants did what overt acts, rendering the claim frivolous and unsustainable; additionally, the compulsory acquisition was a statutory act by the State under the LAA which the defendants could not lawfully be alleged to have caused, so there was no reasonable cause of action; accordingly all strike‑out applications were allowed.
