Plaintiffs were unaware of the illegality at contracting; s.66 applies to require restitution of investors' monies. Defendants were not shown to be in pari delicto that would bar recovery. Quantum was reduced by a global 10% to account for admitted receipts. Accordingly defendants must repay RM27,123,022.69, provide full accounting, pay interest at 5% p.a., and their counterclaim is dismissed with costs of RM60,000.
