Although laboratory analysis established that the sample contained amphetamine and methamphetamine and Section 31A formalities were satisfied, the prosecution failed to prove that the analysed specimen was the accused's because the physical urine bottle was not produced and photographic evidence did not dispel serious doubts; the chain of custody was not satisfactorily established and multiple reasonable inferences existed — therefore no prima facie case was made out and the accused must be acquitted.
