The First Respondent failed to discharge the burden to prove an evidential basis for needs that justify MYR3,000,000 per month; she retained substantial means and income streams, the restraining order did not bar applications for leave to access funds, and the Petitioner lacked the demonstrated monthly liquidity to pay the claimed sum; therefore the interim maintenance application was excessive, unsubstantiated and was dismissed with costs.
