The court found that each of the nine categories in Annexure A met the strict necessity test under Order 24 Rule 8 because the categories were directly relevant and necessary to establish the alleged fraud, the scope and mechanics of the scheme and individual participation; accordingly the specific discovery application was allowed and mandatory production and affidavits were ordered with specified consequences for non-compliance under Order 24 Rule 16(1).
