Contemporaneous documentary evidence (invoices, delivery order, and Wechat messages) established the sale and delivery of 40,000 boxes for RM3,000,000 and an agreed payment schedule; the defendant's contrary assertions were inconsistent, equivocal and unsupported; allegations of defective/mouldy goods were raised belatedly, lacked any documentary or photographic proof and were outside the contractual 10 working day complaint period; accordingly no triable defence existed and summary judgment was warranted for RM1,203,379.70 together with interest and costs.
