On the evidence (writ intitulement, Sijil Faraid listing ten beneficiaries, appointment letters, bills and correspondence), the solicitors had an implied solicitor-client relationship with the beneficiaries and thus owed them a duty of care; releasing RM295,000 to a single beneficiary and deducting RM55,000 without beneficiaries' authority breached that duty and caused foreseeable loss to the plaintiffs, who are entitled to compensation, interest and costs.
