The Court held that, after weighing the seriousness of offences against the rehabilitative prospects and positive JKM social report for a young, first-time offender who pleaded guilty and demonstrated remorse and family responsibilities, a bond under Section 294 KTJ for two years with a cash surety per charge was appropriate rather than immediate imprisonment.
