The High Court held the Sessions Court judge acted within lawful discretion, properly considered aggravating and mitigating factors including the offender's position of trust and the impact on the victim, and that the imposed concurrent 15-year imprisonment from date of arrest, mandatory minimum whipping and ancillary orders (10 years rehabilitation counselling and 3 years police supervision) were lawful and not grossly excessive; therefore the appeal against sentence is dismissed.
