Mandatory interlocutory relief (prayer 1) was granted because the termination of the defendants' engagement was undisputed, Bank Negara required a simple written confirmation from the plaintiffs before re-registration could occur, the defendants demonstrated a high degree of assurance of success on the point of entitlement to such confirmation letters, and refusal would cause disproportionate prejudice (loss of livelihood) while issuance would not cause prejudice to plaintiffs.
