Although the removal of the Plaintiff's caveat involved a mistake, the 1st Defendant acted in good faith pursuant to a court order and is protected by Section 22 NLC; independently, the Plaintiff lacked a caveatable interest and indefeasible title (due to earlier forged transfer) and failed to prove causation and non-remoteness of alleged losses; consequently the negligence claim fails and the suit is dismissed with costs.
